It has been quiet here for a few weeks because of the summer holidays when my writing and demoing time is reduced to practically zero. The thing is, to write you need a lot of mental space.. a lot of quiet.. and a lot of solitude. I understand that while my 6 year old son is on his summer break I need to spend my time with him. So bear with me until September... that sweet September rain.
I have now however, uploaded the correct version of 'Flares From the Sun' using my newly repaired 12 string guitar recorded in mid-July after the amendments described in the MUSIC section.
I want to add that update from July here for posterity:
"It's been a strange few weeks. A time of re-evaluation; asking myself is this the right thing to do? This was on my mind as I returned to an earlier song 'Flares From the Sun' - I thought it was kind of finished in a "This could be the last song on the album like Her Majesty on Abbey Road" way, but I thought it was more important than that, so I added a verse and a middle eight bridge thing."
